Meet the Instructors

Our lessons team is the best in the Tampa Bay area.

John Minor

John Minor is a graduate from the Guitar Institute of Technology (G.I.T.) in Los Angeles where he studied Theory, Ear Training, Improvisation, Reading, and about everything in between. The experience learning from some incredible teachers (Norman Brown, Scott Henderson, T. J. Helmerich for example) at the highly acclaimed school provided him with the foundation to teach a broad range of students. He has been actively playing in Florida and the Tampa Bay area for 20 years in various bands and acoustic duos. He has a wide range of musical influences and a deep knowledge of different musical styles. With many years of teaching and performing experience he can accommodate any level of player and style they wish to learn.

Michael Bunk

Michael Bunk has been teaching the guitar for over 20 years and specializes in teaching all styles of Guitar. Michael takes a practical approach to music theory, sight reading and ear training to give students the tools to excel academically and professionally. Over his teaching career, Michael has worked with hundreds of students ranging from beginning to professional level players. Michael is a great fit for any level student wanting to just learn basic songs up to the advanced player who is looking to expand in their music theory studies.
