A recreation of a special 1962 Strat, the Fender Vitnage Custom 1962 Stratocaster is for players and collectors who want a golden example of rarity. It's decorated in a tasteful and classic 3-Color Sunburst color with a 3-ply parchment pickguard, taking the vintage style to a modern and fresh look. Masterfully-built in America, this guitar features a two-piece solidbody crafted from alder selected for weight and grain, and sports a NOS flash coat lacquer finish, along with Closet Classic metal parts; a complete Time Capsule package.

The real magic of this guitar is in the neck and fingerboard — the ultra-stable, tinted rift sawn maple neck has a C-profile that's ideal for thumb-over, or any other playing style, while the flat-lam 7.25" to 9.5" radius fingerboard flattens out as you head for the upper registers, making it easy to bend without fretting out. Twenty-one medium vintage frets complete the neck, adding even more vintage-style feel and performance to this stunning guitar.

The 1962 Strat is loaded with three Custom Shop Hand-Wound '62/'63 single-coil Strat pickups, producing a classic arrange of amazing and gripping Fender tones, and can be shaped by a master volume controls, two tone controls, and a five-way blade switch.
