Fender American Original 70s Telecaster Custom, 3-Color Sunburst
Fender American Original 70s Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar, 3-Color Sunburst
At the dawn of the seventies, as popular music trended towards the fatter tones of humbucking pickups into overdriven amps, Fender hired legendary humbucking pickup designer Seth Lover to create a distinctly Fender-flavored take on a higher output dual-coil pickup. The result became a famous guitar that Fender lovingly re-created — the Fender American Original 70s Telecaster Custom is a stellar solidbody guitar made from an alder body with with C-profile maple neck with a smooth and comfortable rosewood fingerboard on top.
The 70s Telecaster Custom features the first authentic CuNiFe magnet powered Wide Range neck pickup in over forty years, complimented by a calibrated Tim-Shaw designed '70s Telecaster single-coil bridge pickup. Controls include individual volume and tone for each pickup and an upper-bout three-way toggle switch. Let your tone breathe with a vintage-style seventies power — the outstanding Fender American Original 70s Telecaster Custom is available now at Replay Guitar Exchange!
