Gibson Montana SJ-200 Standard Acoustic/Electric, Wine Red
Gibson Montana SJ-200 Standard Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Wine Red
The legacy of Gibson's King of the Flat-Tops lives on in the Gibson SJ-200 Standard acoustic/electric guitar! From its inaugural appearance in 1937, Gibson's SJ-200 set an unmatched standard. The American-built body features a gorgeous AAA flame maple with a AAA Sitka spruce top, complete with traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing and a beautiful gloss Wine Red finish. The rounded, two-piece maple neck offers a smooth and comfortable playability, showing off an Indian rosewood fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays.
The SJ-200 Standard is stage and studio-ready with an internal L.R. Baggs Anthem mic/pickup system, capturing all of your acoustic resonance into any amplifier of your choosing. The volume control is mounted in the soundhole, with a mix control that switches between the internal mic and the under-saddle piezo pickup, along with a phase inversion switch, a battery check and a mic level control. It comes equipped with gold Grover Rotomatic tuners, a TUSQ nut, saddle and bridge pins, and a two bar SJ-200 rosewood moustache bridge for perfect stability.
The fantastic Gibson SJ-200 Standard continues a legacy of the world's most famous acoustic guitar — as well as certainly one of the most popular guitars ever — and it's ready to come home with you today from Replay Guitar Exchange!
