Gibson Montana Songwriter Standard EC Rosewood Acoustic/Electric, Rosewood Burst
Gibson Montana Songwriter Standard EC Rosewood Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Rosewood Burst
First introduced in 2003, the beautiful American-made Gibson Songwriter Standard EC Rosewood acoustic/electric guitar combines Gibson's time-honored craftsmanship of the 1930's with the original Gibson dreadnought shape, providing a supreme tonal quality on an outstanding instrument. This guitar is decorated in a vivid Rosewood Burst nitrocellulose finish, with a custom line pickguard and elegant gold hardware.
Featuring a beautiful square-shoulder rosewood back and sides paired with a stunning Sitka spruce top, the Songwriter Standard EC Rosewood gives you a heavenly voice that fits perfectly in any song. The traditional hand-scalloped advanced X-bracing gives tons of invigorating resonance, while the multi-ply bound top and single-ply black gives plenty of dimension to the multi-dimensional Gibson acoustic tone.
The neck is built from a mahogany wood, with a round profile and home to a set of twenty standard-shaped frets on the bound rosewood fingerboard — complete with rolled edges for even more unique playability. Installed in this acoustic is a Fishman Prefix Plus-T under-saddle pickup, complete with rib mounted controls and a tuner for perfect amplification access. The Songwriter Standard RC Rosewood is Gibson's modern rosewood dreadnought, complete with all of the aesthetics, fire and superior dynamic range — available now at Replay Guitar Exchange!
