Eleven months ago, I decided to pursue my dream of opening a guitar shop and now the big day is almost here! Our Grand Opening will be held Saturday, August 27 from 11am – 7pm. I am incredibly excited (and a little nervous) to see what is going to happen once we unlock the doors. I really think we have built something unique here in Tampa and we are looking forward to sharing it with you.
We will be open on Saturday, and I certainly expect to do some business, but we are thinking of it more like a meet & greet. This is your chance to stop by and see the store, meet the staff, and check out the coolest guitar collection in Florida. We expect the Grand Opening to be busy, so we will not be evaluating and/or buying used gear on Saturday (Please do not bring any cases, bags, or backpacks into the store).
We will be accepting entries for our Gigantic Grand Opening Gear Giveaway through close of business on Saturday. There is no purchase necessary and you do not need to be present to win. Winners will be selected at random on Monday and notified via e-mail and/or telephone. Bring your direct-mail postcard, grab a blank entry form in the store, or enter on-line at: ReplayGuitar.com/contest
Prizes include:
- Fender American Standard Stratocaster® Electric Guitar ($1,299)
- Gretsch G2420T Streamliner™ Hollow Body with Bigsby® Electric Guitar ($749)
- Dean Colt Flame Top w/Piezo Electric Guitar ($699)
- Breedlove Pursuit Concert Acoustic Guitar ($665)
- Taylor GS Mini ($499)
- Dean Exotica Quilt Ash A/E Bass w/Aphex® GN ($399)
- ESP EC-200 Electric Guitar ($199)
- Kanaloa KS-P Soprano Pineapple Ukulele ($159)
- KICS KUS-TG Soprano Ukulele ($49)
- And more!
We will also be giving away lot of t-shirts, hats, stickers, posters, and other goodies throughout the day.
To cap off the Grand Opening Celebration, John Wesley Band will perform live on the Replay Stage from 6 – 7pm. Admission is free, but space is limited. It should be a fun and exciting day and we look forward to seeing you soon!

I wish you great success. I know some day I’m going to walk into your store and a guitar is going to jump out in front of me and say, “Take Me Home” and I will…. I got 7 now. (Tele thin line, LP Standard, LP Les +, 2 Ric Basses, Taylor 814ce, & Epi Cherry 335 pro with all America Electronics- sounds just like a 335 for half the price. . )
Back in the 60’s I played with a band (The Cherry Slush) that had National records out.. We were from Michigan.. Our label was USA Records in Chicago. So I’m just a old burnt out Rock Star. .
In 2006 I had 26 guitars and not one was under $1,500.00. So I’m sure we will be talking….
I’ll see you soon… Good Luck Art
