Epiphone 1963 Dove Reissue Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Natural

Epiphone 1963 Dove Reissue Acoustic/Electric, Natural
First introduced in 1962 as Gibson's second square shoulder acoustic model, the Dove is one of the most recognizable acoustic guitars ever made. The Epiphone 1963 Dove Reissue is a stunningly authentic recreation of the early Dove models — made in partnership with Gibson Custom. This beautiful acoustic has a thermally aged solid spruce top reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing made from quartersawn solid spruce. The back and sides are solid figured maple, while the thermally-aged one-piece mahogany neck has a rounded profile, a bound rosewood fingerboard and twenty standard frets adorned with split parallelogram mother-of-pearl inlays.
Iconically ornamented with multi-ply binding, a rosewood bridge plate with mother-of-pearl dove inlays and the classic Dove pickguard, this acoustic stands out visually. The headstock carries Kluson Waffleback tuners with metal Keystone buttons. It comes equipped with a built-in L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC preamp and under-saddle piezo pickup system, so it's stage and studio-ready on the spot. A bright, brilliant and faithful recreation of the vintage classic, the Epiphone 1963 Dove Reissue will surely scratch that itch — available now at Replay Guitar Exchange!
