Gibson 50s J-45 Original Acoustic/Electric, Ebony
Inspired by the glorious models of the 1950s, the Gibson 50s J-45 Original flaunts vintage-inspired detailing from the golden era of Gibson. It shines with a beautiful gloss nitro-lacquer Ebony finish that looks great on or off stage.
This classic Workhorse model features a Sitka spruce top on a round shoulder body shape, situated with mahogany back and sides with traditional hand scalloped X-bracing and multi-ply binding. They're subtly antiqued making this acoustic look just like a seasoned instrument. The rounded mahogany neck is smooth and comfortable, boasting a rosewood fingerboard with twenty standard frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
Plug in and jam with the L.R. Baggs VTC soundhole-mounted pickup, giving you the best and most natural-sounding tone when amplified and controlled with a classic volume and tone control. It's also appointed with Grover cream button tuners, a 50s-era tortoise pickguard and a traditional belly-up bridge.
