The J. Rockett Blue Note Select is a V2 of a classic circuit. The original Blue Note Pro Series was the first and that included the Hot switch. J. Rockett then introduced the Tour Series that did not have the Hot switch. However, the newest Blue Not Select not only includes the Hot switch, but also includes major improvements to the looks, the sound and the overall feel, all in a very small package. It's gone so far as to have custom knobs made, a custom color mixed to achieve the electric blue you see and by far the biggest improvement is the low end both in and out of Hot mode. 

Easily control the overall output level with the Volume control, while the Tone controls the top end and bite — a perfect compliment to the Fat control. The gain knob adds slight gain and compression for a better feel. The Fat controls the low mids and overall thickness, while the Hot switch brings the bite — down in minimum gain while up is maximum.
