The MTD 534-24/17 is built from a figured maple solidbody with an offset body shape and a matching headstock and control knobs. The flat D-profile neck is made from maple, and it's home to a superb birdseye maple fingerboard, letting a smooth playability and a crisp comfort take over anytime you slide your fingers across the twenty medium-sized frets. Special Luminlay side dots light up the side of the fingerboard — activated with the provided LED system.

The awesome MT8 proprietary preamp and Bartolini pickups voice this bass, giving you a fat, wide and solid sound that will shake the ground before you. The controls are a master volume and a pan pot, passive tone, mid and stacked treble/bass cut and boost, with a center click from neck to bridge — all with a three-way toggle switch.
