A remake of the original circuit of the FOXX pedal line from the 1970s, the fantastic Danelectro 3699 fUZZ has all of the awesome qualities of the original but with some important tweaks. The octave is way more pronounced and footswitch-able, while the tone is warmer and there is a mids boost toggle that counteracts the mid cut of the original pedal. Back in the 1970's, it was cool to have a phone number that spelled your product name. So about a year after launching the original FOXX pedal line, Danelectro owner Steve Ridinger sat down in front of a phone dial and worked out the spelling of FOXX, which coincidentally was 3-6-9-9 — thus the new pedal was born from that story.
